Citi is Standing
for the women who move us, on the stage and beyond.

  • Only 21.7% of all music artists are women.

  • ONLY 12.5% OF SONGWRITERS ARE WOMEN.

  • ONLY 2.6% OF MUSIC PRODUCERS ARE WOMEN.

Citi is committed to changing that. Here’s how:

Supporting mentorship

We're working with NBC and supporting the "Women Who Rock" mentorship program to connect aspiring female singers and songwriters with established women in music.

Collaborating with partners

We're collaborating with our entertainment partners to improve the selection process and visibility of female artists.

Building a coalition

As a founding member of the #SeeHerHearHer movement, we’re partnering with the Association of National Advertisers to build a coalition that calls on brands and the music industry to work together and help eliminate gender inequality in music.

Evolving music in advertising

We're committing to a more inclusive search process for music used in our TV commercials, and we proudly feature female-based songs in our latest TV campaigns.

TOGETHER, LET’S SUPPORT WOMEN IN THE MUSIC INDUSTRY
